3. The North Carolina Symphony – Scheherazade

7:30 p.m. Feb. 9, 2017, Wilson Center: Cape Fear Stage

This exciting concert includes Tchaikovsky: Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture; Timo Andres: Everything Happens So Much; and Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade. Grant Llewellyn is the conductor.

4. Crimes of the Heart

Feb. 16 – March 5, 2017, Cape Fear Playhouse

Three sisters in a small Southern town play for laughs, until one sister shoots her husband. A Pulitzer Prize winner.

6. Michael Bolton

A favorite romantic crooner, Michael Bolton boasts nine Number 1 singles and two Grammys.

7. Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

March 1 – 12, 2017, Thalian Hall

This musical based on the cult classic movie brings your favorite Australian drag show to life.

8. Cape Fear ComicCon

March 11, 2017, Coastline Convention Center

Comics, cosplay, gaming, experts, and B movies converge for an unusual annual event. Proceeds benefit Popular Culture and Arts Programs.

9. Barefoot in the Park

March 9 -26, 2017, Red Barn Studio Theatre

This classic rom-com follows young lawyer Paul Bratter and his newlywed bride Corie in New York City.

10. Lionel Popkin: Inflatable Trio

7:30 p.m. March 16, 2017, Wilson Center: Cape Fear Stage

This unusual dance projects is performed with an inflatable plastic living room set to explore space and social landscape.
