The annual Wrightsville Beach Marathon draws competitors from all over the world. A 5K and Fun Run are set for Saturday and a full marathon, half marathon and relay challenge for Sunday. The route starts at Wrightsville Beach and winds 26.2 miles through the Landfall community, finishing at Mayfaire Town Center for the awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit The Landfall Foundation, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and other local charities.
