So, who’s going to the Lighthouse Beer and Wine Festival? Wait a minute, who’s NOT going to the Lighthouse Beer and Wine Festival?!

The Lighthouse Beer and Wine Festival will take place Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 1pm -5pm at Battleship Park.

Also known as “Beerfest” by many locals, the Festival is a long-time good-time tradition (13 years to be precise) for anyone looking for a great entertainment in Wilmington. The Festival will feature over 100 craft breweries and wineries, live music and great food from local restaurants.

Your ticket comes with an official Lighthouse Beer and Wine “tasting glass.” Personally, I have about half a dozen tasting glasses stashed in a cabinet somewhere. They’ve got the “Lighthouse Beer & Wine” logo imprinted on the side, smaller than a tumbler and larger than a shot glass, but just the right size for a taste of some of the worlds best beer and wine.

If you want to make sure you can get to and from the event with all your friends safely and without having to wait in line for a cab give us a call at 910-398-8333 or request a quote to book one of our 12-passenger Mercedes-Benz Sprinter limos or our 24 passenger Executive Shuttle for an extra large group.

Tickets to the festival range from $14 (for designated drivers) – $75 for a Voracious Rare Beer Pass.

VIP Beer Pass: $40, General Beer Pass: $30
VIP Wine Pass: $40, General Wine Pass: $30

Purchase tickets here.

Music from past years included: Langhorne Slim, Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons, and the Black Lillies. As of July 21, 2014, the band has not been announced.

Battleship Park

This year’s festival will be held at Battleship Park across the river from Downtown Wilmington.

Awesome food vendors like Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Poor Piggy’s Pork and Ribs and Flaming Amys Burrito Barn.

A a portion of the festival proceeds will benefit The Carousel Center, a non-profit organization committed to assisting victims of child abuse, providing critical care services to children from 15 counties throughout Southeastern North Carolina.
