St. Patrick’s Day Festival

This St. Patrick’s day event takes place at Riverfront Park at the corner of North Water and Princess Streets for food, drink, live music and dancing.  It is a family friendly event. *in case of rain the event will be moved under the Water Street Parking deck.

Steve Haydu St. Patrick’s Day Lo Tide Run

This annual 5k/10k race is set to take you on a scenic route through the neighborhoods around Carolina Beach Lake followed by an after party at The Lazy Pirate. Enjoy food, music, dancing, raffles and more. All proceeds are donated to local families in financial crisis who are battling cancer. //

Hell’s Kitchen – St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Party

Saturday, March 15th & 17th.

The St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Party at Hell’s Kitchen in downtown Wilmington features a tailgate party, live music from Bootleg Dynasty, trivia, and a cornhole tournament.

Halligan’s Public House

Is this Wilmington’s largest St. Patrick’s Day event? If you’re asking them, oh yeah. The day kicks off with “Kegs & Eggs” at 7:00 am. Then from noon to mid-night, there will be live Irish music.

Slainte Irish Pub

All three locations of this Irish Pub will open at 9:00 am Saturday. You’ll find them in downtown Wilmington, Hampstead and Southport. Both Hampstead and Southport locations will offer live music, as well as Irish food. All the pubs will have bagpipers on hand.

The annual Wrightsville Beach Marathon, presented by Landfall Realty draws competitors from all over the world and features a full marathon, half marathon and relay challenge. The route, which starts at Wrightsville Beach will travel 26.2 miles through the scenic Landfall community, finishing at Mayfaire Town Center for the awards ceremony. Proceeds benefit The Landfall Foundation, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and other local charities. Spectator map available online.
