Trick or Treat Under the Sea at the NC Aquarium at Fort FisherPirate skeletons, caped superheroes and fairy princesses will once again haunt the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. Cost: $8 each. Children 2 years old and younger are free.

Poplar Grove’s annual Halloween Festival is sure to scare up a good time for all! Younger kids and families will find games to keep them entertained in the Goblins & Games Fun House. Once the sun is down, the fun begins in the Haunted Manor House and continues on the Haunted Wagon Ride. Activities include inflatable rides, rock wall, bungee jump, pony rides, camel rides, gem mining, “little kids train”, petting zoo, Palm Reader, Tarot Card Reader, costume contest for pets and people. The Rocky Horror Show is a musical with music, lyrics and a book by Richard O’Brien. A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the late 1940s through early 1970s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist unveiling his new creation, a muscle man named Rocky Horror. Third Annual Haunted Halloween celebration in Wallace, NC is open for TEN terrifying nights and everything is different. This year the whole farm will be open for our guests to explore. You can expect to see graveyards, concessions, streaming horror movies on our big screen, zombie hunts, our newly designed six acre haunted corn maze, and an expanded horror house with new twists and turns. And by popular demand there are no guides to lead you through this year, so you’ll be on your own to survive. Come be a part of our haunted tradition and see why we’re Duplin County’s biggest and scariest haunted attraction! Cost $15-$20.

From the disreputable obsession of the merry wench Gallus Meg to the barbarous haunts of a notorious madman, ye’ll be beggin’ to be keelhauled before it’s all over. Aargh! This unique 2.5-hour adventure is closed to ye cabin boys & girls so in order to touch this booty ye must be 21 or older & prove it. Cost: $17.50 — Adults

Bring your little ghouls and goblins to the Battleship to go trick-or-treating! Fun games, activities, henna tattoos, & storytelling is all part of the Halloween fun. Batty Battleship is perfect for the little ones and families! Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Cost: $5 per person. Children 2 & under are free.
